What happens between hello and goodbye.

A walkthrough of a single inbound claims call — voice in, decision out — running entirely through APE without leaving the platform.

Step 01

Voice in — <120ms to first token

SIP trunk hands the call to APE. Speech is transcribed in flight; intent is classified before the customer finishes their first sentence. The agent identifies itself in the customer's preferred language.

Step 02

Document ingestion

The customer mentions a damaged invoice. The agent requests it via WhatsApp, OCRs the PDF, validates totals against the master ledger and quotes the matched line item back — live, mid-call.

Step 03

Policy decisioning

APE consults the policy graph: jurisdiction (Dubai, RBI-aligned), product (motor SME), customer tenure (3y, low-risk). Decisions are evaluated as a structured proof, not a generated string.

Step 04

System of record update

Salesforce object created. Ticket linked. Approval ID stamped to the case. A second agent, running in parallel, has already filed downstream with the underwriter.

Step 05

Audit + close

Every decision tagged with its source policy clause and model version. The full chain replays deterministically on demand — for legal, for regulators, for your own QA.
